Bios

• Ms Kara

  Ms. Kara is the on-site owner at The Goddard School in Towson. Ms. Kara’s background with Goddard dates back to 2012 where she was originally employed at our sister school in White Marsh. She decided to broaden her experience in administration at our other sister school in Middle River where she has been a director since 2016. She has also had the pleasure to serve our Early Childhood Education community by teaching the qualifying coursework for budding early childhood educators at CCBC- Essex Campus. Outside of her professional experience, she has her bachelor’s degree in Family & Human Services from Towson University, her master’s degree in School Counseling from Walden University, and she is currently an education fellow at UMBC studying Early Childhood Educational Leadership. Ms. Kara looks forward to building relationships with all of the Towson Goddard families and continuing to create a safe environment where the children can learn and explore their creativity.

• Mr. Dave & Ms. Amber

  Mr. Dave and Ms. Amber are owners of the Goddard School in Towson. They have three young adult children, a son-in-love and a grandchild (see photo) who is enrolled at The Goddard School in Middle River. Mr. Dave has his Bachelor’s of Arts Degree from Gettysburg College. Ms. Amber also attended Gettysburg College where she majored in English and Elementary Education. She immediately started to pursue her master’s Degree in Reading at Towson University. In addition to Towson, they have developed and operate Goddard schools in White Marsh, Middle River, and Forest Hill. They believe that young children are always happy and eager to learn. Their goal is that every parent will drop off their child at the Goddard School in Towson with complete confidence, joy and peace knowing that their child is in the best of hands and school.

• Ms Jessica

  Ms. Jess is the Director of Education here at The Goddard School in Towson! She has earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and has her 99 hour Preschool certification. Ms. Jess has 5 years of experience working for Goddard and started her career at the Goddard School in Towson in August of 2023. She is also CPR and First Aid certified. Ms. Jess enjoys working with children because she loves seeing kids develop their personalities and being creative. Her favorite children's book is "Happy Dreamer" by Peter H. Reynolds because it inspires students to always follow their dreams and be themselves.

• Ms Kiara

  Ms. Kiara is the Director of Operations here at The Goddard School in Towson! She has 13 years of experience working with children before starting her career at the Goddard School in Towson in February of 2022. She has earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development and her Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education. Ms. Kiara is also CPR and First Aid certified and trained in Medication Administration. Kiara enjoys working with children because it allows her to help children grow and develop while building strong bonds and relationships. Her favorite children's book is "Green Eggs and Ham" because she loves rhyming books and the message it has.

• Ms Katie

  Ms. Katie is the Assistant Director here at The Goddard School of Towson. She has 13 years of experience working with children before starting her career here in February of 2024. Ms. Katie has earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from UMGC and has her 90 hour Preschool certification and her 45 hour Infant and Toddler certification. She is also CPR and First Aid certified and trained in Medication Administration. Katie enjoys working with children because she loves watching them grow and knowing that she has made a difference. She believes children want to learn and her favorite thing is to see them accomplish a task that that they were struggling with and watching them light up when they succeed at a hard task. Ms. Katie's favorite children's book is "The Lorax" because she strongly believes that taking care of the earth is everyone's responsibility and "unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing's going to get better, it's not."

• Ms Paige

  Ms. Paige is the Assistant Director here at The Goddard School of Towson. She has five years of experience working with children before starting her career here in March of 2023. She loves working with children because she enjoys getting to watch them grow and being a part of the process. She also loves building relationships with the children and loving them for all that they are. Ms. Paige's favorite children's book is "Oh, The Places You'll Go" by Dr. Seuss because this book is so encouraging. In her many years of teaching she has always loved reading this book to her class.

• Ms Alayrrah

  Ms. Alayrrah is an Assistant Teacher here at The Goddard School of Towson. She started her career here at The Goddard of Towson in March of 2022. Ms. Alayrrah is working towards her 45 hour Infant and Toddler certificate. She loves working with children and watching them enjoy learning. Ms. Alayrrah's favorite book is "The Princess and the Frog" because she enjoys cooking.

• Alexis

  Ms. Alexis is an Infant and Toddler teacher here at the Goddard School in Towson. Ms. Alexis has her bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Towson University. She is currently pursuing her 45 hour Infant and Toddler Certification. Ms. Alexis started her career here at the Goddard School in August of 2023. She loves teaching because she loves seeing how children grow and learn new things. Her favorite children's book is "Goodnight Moon" because her mom used to read it to her every night.

• Ms Briah

  Ms. Briah is a Toddler teacher here at The Goddard School in Towson. She has 5 years of experience and started her career here at The Goddard School in February of 2022. She has her Bachelor’s degree in Child and Adolescence Studies. Ms. Briah loves teaching because she loves her students. She loves interacting with them and helping them understand the content an seeing the connection between what they are learning and their lives. Ms. Briah's favorite children's book is "If You Give A Mouse A Cookie."

• Ms Caroline

  Ms. Caroline is a Pre-kindergarten teacher here at The Goddard School of Towson. She has 9 years of child care experience before starting her career at The Goddard School in August of 2022. She is currently attending the Community College of Baltimore County and pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education. Ms. Caroline has her 99 hour Preschool certification and her 45 hour Infant and Toddler certification. Ms. Caroline loves working with children because she loves making a difference in children's lives and how much of a difference children make in hers. Her favorite children book is "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" because she enjoys the illustrations and she thinks the story has a great message.

• Ms Cherese

  Ms. Cherese is an Infant teacher here at The Goddard School of Towson. She had three years experience working with children before starting her career here at The Goddard of Towson in October of 2018. She has her 99 hour Preschool and 45 hour Infant/Toddler Certification. She loves working with children because she loves molding young minds. Her favorite book is “Mother Goose” by Iona and Peter Opie since she loves old school nursey rhymes.

• Ms Courtney

  Ms. Courtney is a toddler teacher here at The Goddard School of Towson. She has a few years experience working with children before starting her career here at The Goddard of Towson in August of 2020. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She loves working with children because she loves that she can teach children anything. Her favorite book is “Knuffle Bunny” by Mo Willems since she it was her favorite story growing up and her grandmother brought her the story. Ms. Courtney also loved stuffed animals as a child!

• DeMia

  Ms. DeMia is a preschool teacher here at The Goddard School in Towson. She received her Associate degree in General Studies. Ms. DeMia has 8 years of experience teaching and started her career at The Goddard School in November of 2022. Ms. DeMia enjoys teaching because she loves seeing the children learn and enjoy what she is teaching them. Her favorite children's book is "Oh, The Places You'll Go" because it gives an description about life.

• Ms Destiny

  Ms. Destiny is a Preschool teacher here at The Goddard School of Towson. She had many years experience working with children before starting her career here at The Goddard of Towson in October of 2019. She is pursuing an Associate's degree in General Studies. Ms. Destiny has her 99 hour Preschool Certification. She loves working with children because she is passionate on her career teaching children. Her favorite book is “Green Eggs and Ham” by Dr. Seuss since her elementary school teacher read it to the class while they actually ate green eggs and ham. As it taught us that is okay to try new things.

• Diamond

  Ms. Diamond is an Infant and Toddler teacher here at the Goddard School in Towson. Ms. Diamond has her 90 hour Preschool certification and her 45 hour Infant and Toddler certification. She is currently pursuing her degree in Early Childhood Development at CCBC. Ms. Diamond has 4 years of experience working with children and started her career here at the Goddard School in December of 2022. She loves teaching because she likes being able to have a positive impact on children's lives. Ms. Diamond's favorite children's book is "No David" because this story reminds her of her own childhood.

• Ms Dianne

  Ms. Dianne is an Infant and Toddler teacher here at The Goddard School in Towson. She has over 25 years of experience working with children and she started her career at The Goddard School in September of 2020. Ms. Dianne has her Associates degree in Early Childhood Education. She also has her 99 hour Preschool certification and her 45 hour Infant and Toddler Certification. Ms. Dianne believes that each child is a unique individual who needs a safe and secure environment to be able to grow emotionally, socially, intellectually, and physically.

• Ms Eboni

  Ms. Eboni is a Preschool teacher here at the Goddard School of Towson. She began her Goddard School career in February 2019. She has two years experience working with children. She is currently working towards her Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education. Ms. Eboni has her 99-hour Preschool and 45-hour Infant/Toddler Certification. She loves working with children because she gets excited when her class corrects other students and when they make milestones. Her favorite children's book is "Bringing the Rain to Kapiti plain" by Verna Aardema since it talks about change growth and obstacles to overcome like life.

• Ms Jeneal

  Ms. Jeneal is a Toddler teacher here at The Goddard School of Towson. She had fifteen years experience working with children before starting her career here at The Goddard of Towson in November of 2020. She has her Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She also has her 45 hour Infant/Toddler Certification. She loves working with children because she enjoys observing how much children grown in meeting developmental milestones. Her favorite book is “Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?” by Bill Martin, Jr. since the story is really engaging along with being easy to follow for young children.

• Ms Kaela

  Ms. Kaela is a Pre-Kindergarten teacher here at The Goddard School in Towson. She has over 4 years of experience working with children before starting her career here at The Goddard School in August of 2022. Ms. Kaela enjoys teaching because everyday is different. Her favorite children's book is "Oh the Places You'll Go" by Doctor Seuss because the lessons in the book are able to be related through all stages in life.

• Karen

  Ms. Karen is an Infant and Toddler teacher here at the Goddard School in Towson. Ms. Karen has her 45-hour Infant and Toddler certification. Ms. Karen has 7 years of experience working with children and started her career here at the Goddard School in August of 2023. She loves teaching because she believes the relationships you develop as a teacher are amazing. Ms. Karen also believes that you are meeting children at a critical point in their lives and you have a chance to build into their lives and it is a fantastic feeling. Ms. Karen's favorite children's book is "De Colores" because her mom use to sing the song from the book when she was a little kid.

• Ms Kelli

  Ms. Kelli is an Infant teacher here at The Goddard School of Towson. She has her 45 hour Infant and Toddler Certificate. She has many years experience working with children before starting her career here at The Goddard of Towson in December of 2019. She loves working with children because she likes to interact with the children on a daily basis. She does not have a favorite children’s book because they are all are worthwhile and she loves reading what the children's favorite book of the moment is!

• Ms Meghan

  Ms. Meghan is an infant teacher here at The Goddard School of Towson. She has four years experience working with children before starting her career here at The Goddard of Towson in July of 2020. She has her associates’s degree in Early Childhood Education and has her 45 hour Infant/toddler certification. She loves working with children because she loves making positive impacts with the children. She is able to have daily communication with the families about the children's routines. Her favorite book is “The Growing Tree” by Shel Silverstein since the story has a wonderful meaning about unconditional love.

• Ms Michelle

  Ms. Michelle is a preschool teacher here at The Goddard School in Towson. Ms. Michelle has her 90-hour Pre-School certification. She has 14 years of experience teaching and started her career at The Goddard School in May of 2021. Ms. Michelle enjoys teaching because she enjoys watching children grow an develop into life learners by introducing new materials used in art, science, math, dramatic play, and so much more. Her favorite children's book is "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" because she loves the illustrations and the the story line of how the caterpillar was transformed.

• Ms Nicole

  Ms. Nicole is a Preschool teacher here at The Goddard School of Towson! She began her career at The Goddard School of Towson in July 2018. Ms. Nicole has her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. Ms. Nicole has her 99 hour Pre-School Certification. She believes that children learn best through hands on, real life experiences. She also believes all children are smart, loving, and unbiased.

• Chloe

  Ms. Chloe is a resource teacher here at The Goddard School of Towson. She started her career here at The Goddard in January of 2023. She is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Biology at Towson University. She loves working with children because she likes getting to know all of the children and seeing them progress and knowing she's made an impact in their lives. Ms. Chloe's favorite children's book is "Green Eggs and Ham" because it was her favorite book as a child and was the first book she learned to read by herself.
